The Program
Full TEFL Certification (120 hours)
University accreditation at one of South East Asia’s leading institutions
Three hours of input sessions per day covering all aspects of the theory and practice of language teaching
Special workshops given by specialists covering other aspects of language teaching (e.g. teaching young learners)
Filmed microteaching sessions each week, which gives trainees a chance to practice elements of their teaching and obtain both peer-2-peer feedback and feedback from their trainers
Two real life observation each week where trainees have the opportunity to observe current Chiang Mai University teachers in action
Survival Thai language and culture instruction (20 hours) – terms and conditions apply
6-hour observed teaching practices with real students at both university level and at local government and monastery schools

Each course is limited to 12 participants
Accommodation
Off campus accommodation (optional): Language Institute CMU can provide accommodation assistance in Chiang Mai during the training period

FREE internet access throughout the training center plus air conditioned classrooms
University privileges: membership fees waived for swimming pool and fitness centre for 90-days. Access to seven libraries on campus (additional fees required for Chiang Mai University library access)
